Works well - I fully raise it up and down 4-5 times a day. Fairly sturdy and solid. Good value. Would give 5 stars but its slightly difficult to raise a 24" monitor and keyboard. I find the easiest way to lift it is to bend my knees, keep my back straight, grasp the lever with my left hand and the right side with my right hand, and stand straight up using my legs to lift it instead of my back. Lift it half way up, release the lever, then repeat the process to lift it to the full height.I have been using this desk for more than a two months now. It is a great size and works well on top of the desk I already have in place. I am 5' 7" and have to fully extend the desk when I'm standing. For someone taller who is using a conventional height desk or table you might have to put something elevate the Luxor. This would impact the height when collapsed. So far I have found the pneumatic lifter works well. When I collapse it I don't push down on the desk for the last couple of inches. Instead, I patiently let it fully collapse on it's own. The 2.5 additional inches to the height of the desk when seated works ok for me. I have an office chair that allows me line up correctly. I think its a great value for money.It's not quite as easy to raise as other products out there, (and I feel it may be getting more difficult with time), but it is still easy yo raise. I have had this product for many months now and it is so nice to be able to stand up and work. It IS quite heavy, so I had to rearrange my desk so this would be at a well-supported spot. Definitely worth the low price, (as most of these run >$600)A well built product that allows me to alternate sitting and standing at my work place. The pneumatic assist really makes a difference. Worked so well, I bought two.This is a great addition to my home office set up. Felt like the price plus free shipping were a good deal. It arrived quickly too. This is fairly heavy so plan on two people to place it on the desk. Takes a little muscling to get it to raise. The only thing I will say is it does take effort to lift it up, so I wouldn't recommend it for somebody who may be older or may have trouble lifting something that requires a little muscle.Highly recommend. If you're looking for a great price on a standup desk riser, this is the one to get. It's durable, solid construction provides ample workspace. The metal base and riser are easy to adjust up or down as needed. Love it (and so does my back).
