I bought this walking pad to be able to get some steps in while I work from home, or on personal computer items. It's the perfect size to fit under my desk, and walk while I work. It's easy to move out of the way when I want the chair back at the desk. I also can move it in front of the TV when watching shows or movies. In the first 5 days I had owned this, I got my 10K steps in 4 out of the 5 days. I am so happy to be able to walk every day- no matter the weather. I will say that the belt on mine slips slightly when I go from 1.6 to 1.8 - but I know that now so I'm just careful when I do that. This goes from barely walking, to a nice jog - so you can choose your speed and sweat level!
