Love it...it's a bit noisy but if u place the rocks just right when the water falls down .the noises won't be so bad...love it at night time...best white noise and keeps room moistThis was a risky purchase: it's expensive, had only two other reviews at the time of purchase, and, with its weight and size, doesn't leave much wiggle room for where to put it. I took a chance and, for the reasons below, chalked it up to an expensive mistake.PROS:1. Easy to assemble (which, in the era of product shipping, is a rarity these days).2. Heavy duty-- this thing will last a long, long time.3. Nice placement of the LED light to highlight the front of the slate.4. Minimal splashing, so little concern of excessive water refillings or water damage to the surrounding table.CONS:1. Much, much too quiet. I cannot hear it from more than 3 feet away. I bought the fountain first and foremost to enjoy the sound of it in the background, but if there is any other noise in the room, I can barely hear it even when sitting next to it. Very disappointing.2. About half of the rocks that came with it were broken, as was the top portion which holds the light. While the top portion is intact, it has a giant crack around almost the entire perimeter of it. Neither of these things are deal breakers, as I can replace the small rocks with other rocks and the top part is hard to see at night. If con #1 did not exist, these would not be as big of a deal.In the end, I regret the purchase. Because the packaging was torn apart trying to get all of the taped components out of the box, I am not in a position to easily send it back and will probably bring it to my office, which is much smaller and much quieter than my living room. This puts me back at square one and a lot of money short to find another fountain for my home.Tranquil! Easy to set up and worth it! I love my fountain, the water flowing and the peace it provides. The pump is adjustable on flow. Water fountains causes evaporation so be sure to watch your water level so not to burn up your pump. It comes with a light but I prefer not to use it. I highly recommend for any space in your home, I have mine in my home office in my Feng Shui-wealth and prosperity corner ;)Assembly was a giant pain in the rear. The pump has these feet that you're supposed to stick to the bottom container but the wiring style is so awkward that it ends up floating within the water instead. The clamp on the top piece that's supposed to hold the light was bent out so it wouldn't clamp around the light properly. I had to unscrew it and use pliers to forcefully bend it closed to make it tighter. The cord routing is awkward and requires you to route it above the bottom container, and the guides they put in place don't really help. The finish looks way more washed out too - it looks shiny in the product page photos but in real life it looks washed out and dull. This is the "budget" fountain model and I suspect that's why the whole thing feels kind of cheap. It looks okay but it's not worth the price we paid for it.This fountain looks very nice. However, it is very hard to assemble....not complicated, but the pieces are bent, cut on a bias, etc. so do NOT hold together. One of the main components, the pump will NOT hold on to the tube that is essential in the proper performance of the fountain. It falls off constantly. We have tried taping, clamping, etc. in order to get it to hold, but it doesn't, It looks like the tube was not only bent, but was cut on a diagonal, making this an endeavor with no good end. To make it worse, It's on the bottom of the assembly, In order to try to re-attach the part, the entire fountain has to be taken apart. Finally, you are only supposed to fill to the FILL line. However, when the unit is put together and running, you can NOT see the FILL line! This did not bring peace to my home!
