Packaged safely, unpacked and it was immediately good to go. It was equal in price to smaller and more conventional bar carts, but is a lot more interesting. I’ve bought Safavieh branded furniture before and it’s always been a very good value for the price for me, and this piece didn’t disappoint.Notes:1. As others have mentioned the internet drawers are not on rails, they’ll fall right on your toes if you’re not careful. Load accordingly.2. The interior doesn’t smell awesome out of the box. I suggest using a little sachet or something similar to remove the smell.First of all, there was ZERO assembly. It ships in a box fully assembled. You just trim the box off and you're good to go. I did experience a bit of the cedar smell other reviewers have noticed. Wasn't a big deal for me - I was fine with it. I live in an apartment with limited kitchen counter space, so all my entertainment-ware was up in cabinets and really I needed that space for like...idk plates and cups...so I got this guy. I was able to put most of my entertaining stuff, including paper plates / napkins / cheese plates / bbq utensils / coozies / shot glasses / wine stoppers / ect into the drawers or on one of the door shelves. I fit most of my martini/wine glasses in the slots ...just one large rimmed martini glass didn't fit. My tall wine glasses (prob 10") didn't fit into the slots (too long) but they fit in the side doors. I was able to fit all kinds of liquor bottles into the "wine rack" portion of the case. The side doors are wide enough for small bottles of liquor (750 ml) but I don't think would support handles.I love this because ppl can pick and choose what they want, kinda self serve...Also, I have a dog and she sheds and the fact that I can close this up to protect the glasses and bottles from her hair and dander is exactly what I wanted. It's really pretty perfect. I wish it came in different colors, but I was willing to accept the seafoam green exterior for all the other benefits this offered. Really quite happy with this piece.I bought this as a solution to my dog hair problem. No matter how much I cleaned, my bar cart was a magnet. This is great because it actually stores more than a standard cart it’s size.Pros: so much storage, looks much cleaner, I personally love the cedar smell, sturdy-I’m not worried I’m overloading it and it’s easy to move(I did have one glass fall inside of it and break but it was a target dollar spot quality glass, my nicer glassware is fine)Cons: the left doors wheel didn’t touch the ground and needs to be loaded with a little extra booze, the drawers are more like bins-not attached at all and will fall out if not careful, it doesn’t fit handlesAnd the big one- the wine glass racks are way too close to the shelf. I have multiple styles(not all of which are ‘tall’) and only one fits. A couple of my shorter ones will fit on the shelf so the racks are just show and they don’t hang from it-just look like they do. If this is selling point for you, you might be disappointed.Absolutely Beautiful! I love the wood smell and old fashioned look. My only knock is the wine stem rack is way too short. My tall carbernet glasses dont fit, also can't fit glasses in the middle racks due to the magnets there for holding the doors. As seen in the picture my longer glasses are outside the rack but I am still able to close the doors. Bottles fit on the doors without a problem. The drawers are not tethered so don't put anything that can break in them.I searched for months for a liquor cabinet and loved the trunk design, this was also the cheapest I have seen. Others are pricing this same trunk for $500 and up. It arrived well packaged and no assembly required. It does have an odor, but that is just from being closed and its hot. I just left it air out before stocking it. I saw a lot of people talk about wine glasses not fitting - my wine (white and red), martini, margarita, and flutes all fit fine. The only negative is the 2 drawers are not attached so when you pull them they fall out. So I would probably only store bar tools in them.Loved the design and the vintage look. Quality is Ok, probably not sturdy enough. Three things make me rate it average:1) And this is critical, the design for glass holders is wrong. Too tight and many of my wine glasses cant fit. If you are enthusiastic about your wine cups, I suggest you think twice about buying this product.2) Drawers don’t have any hardware to support them or slide them, they are simply wooden boxes that slide in or out. Not a problem until you try putting something heavy in them.3) The delivery was awful, package was perforated and merchandise damaged. I asked for a return and came back quickly though.Absolutely beautiful, I seen the this at a friends place and I fell in love with it and bought one too! The smell of cedar is nice, It has wheels to move it around easily. It’s has great storage.
