The book is written by the dog Bo. My second grader needed to read nightly and wasn’t having it. This series she loves. She likes that each page has a picture and a paragraph so it’s not overwhelming text. It’s 10 chapters per book, so we read a chapter a night and turns into about 120 pages. She actually will go to read on her own because she likes the books so much. Her biggest complaint about the book is that the cover has color but the pages inside do not. She’s already on book 5 of the series. We bought the first book because she missed her school book fair. The remainder of the series we’ve been borrowing from our local library.
