Home for the Homicide DIY Mystery Book - Crime Solving Novel for Adults | Perfect for Book Clubs, Mystery Lovers & Cozy Reading Nights

I easily give Home for the Homicide 5 stars. The main character, Avery, is intelligent, yet a little quirky, but a well written character. All of the characters are well written and the stories in the the "A Do-It-Yourself Mystery series are fun and inventive. Avery is always stumbling into something that she should leave alone, but her curiosity always gets the best of her, which makes the stories so much more interesting and enjoyable. I have never skipped ahead, or have become bored and find myself finishing the books in this series in a day or two, at most. I love that it's a mystery with romance, yet I don't have to be subjected to explicit sex, described ad nauseam. If I want to read soft porn, I will chose that genre. I love that Jennie Bentley' s books are written for adults and she doesn't use explicit sex scenes to add character or word count. I'm not a prude, I just enjoy a mystery book without porn. I especially think the "do it yourself" instructions at the end of each of the series makes the stories even better. I recommend this book, and the entire series to anyone that enjoys great characters, interesting plots and not easily figured out mysteries. I hope the series continues. You can read each of the series as a stand alone story, but I highly recommend you read them all, otherwise you're missing out. Great, easy, fun read.
