I love to process home or locally grown fruits and vegetables every year and have many tried and true recipes (many handed down in the family) that I go back to every year. This book is a GREAT addition to the collection. Many of these recipes are new to me (a plus), and look easy enough for the novice to try, but also new twists for the seasoned "home canner". Can't wait to try some of the new ones. This book also sparked the notion that I can be doing home canning in every season, not just the fall harvest season with whatever is in season or available. Not sure why I never thought of that myself, but thank you Rebecca -- I will be adding this book to my Christmas gift list as well.
